The QUINCY HOUSING AUTHORITY, the Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids from
Contractors for the Exterior Unit Door Replacement at State Aided Development: David
J. Crowley Court (667-1) in Quincy, Massachusetts, in accordance with the documents
prepared by ARCHITECTURAL SOLUTIONS INC..
The Project consists of but not limited to:
Exterior Unit Door Replacement at David J. Crowley Ct. Elderly Development (667-1),
Quincy, MA. all in accordance with the Contract Documents.
Asbestos abatement is also included in the scope.
The work is estimated to cost $375,000.00.
Bids are subject to M.G.L. c.149 §44A-J & to minimum wage rates as required by
M.G.L. c.149 §§26 to 27H inclusive.

Beal Street Hingham Development (100 Beal Street)
The Hingham Housing Authority (“Authority”), through its Chief Procurement Officer is seeking
proposals from qualified developers for the development of approximately 60 units of affordable senior
rental housing at a range of incomes, on approximately 8.6 acres of land owned by the Housing
Authority in Hingham, MA. The parcel is addressed on land at 100 Beal Street, and further identified as
“School Tract II” on pages 3 and 4 of a plan titled “Plan of Land: Beal, West, & Fort Streets, prepared for
the Town of Hingham July 1972,” recorded in the Plymouth County Registry of Deeds Plan Book 17,
Page 508.
The Housing Authority acquired the land in 1989. The Housing Authority voted at their Board of
Directors Meeting on September 10, 2024 to make the land available for affordable housing.
The Hingham Housing Authority intends to enter into a Land Disposition and Development Agreement
(LDDA) with the selected developer and lease the property to the developer, with affordability
restrictions. The developer will be responsible for the design, construction, development, and operation
of the rental units at the property.
The purpose of this Request for Proposals (“RFP”) is to select a developer with demonstrated
experience and capacity to carry out a development project that best addresses the needs and goals of
the community as described in this RFP. The most advantageous proposal, from a responsive and
responsible proposer, considering all evaluation criteria set forth in the RFP, will be selected.

Snug Harbor Ceiling Overlay
Snug Harbor Ceiling Overlay, Due: 5/15/25
The QUINCY HOUSING AUTHORITY, the Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids from
Contractors for the Ceiling Overlay at State Aided Development: Snug Harbor (200-1) in
Quincy, Massachusetts, in accordance with the documents prepared by DERBY
SQUARE ARCHITECTS.
The Project consists of but not limited to:
The overlay of existing drywall ceilings with new drywall ceilings, and includes plastering
and painting of those ceilings.
The work is estimated to cost $754,800.00.
All bidding Requests for Information (RFIs) shall be submitted online by 05/15/2025 at

Drohan Interior Painting, Due: 5/23/25
The Quincy Housing Authority, the Awarding Authority, invites written proposals from Painting Contractors for Interior Painting at the Drohan Apartments Federal Family Housing Development at 170 Copeland Street, Quincy, MA 02169.
The project consists of preparing, priming, and painting select interior areas of the building including, but
not limited to, hallway walls and ceilings, stairwell walls and ceilings, doors, and frames. The work is estimated to cost $100,000.
All Quotes are subject to M.G.L c.149 §44A(2)(C) and Davis-Bacon federal minimum wage rates as required by the U.S. Department of Labor’s Wage and Hour Division for federally funded projects.

Drohan Flooring Upgrade 5.23.25
The Quincy Housing Authority (QHA) is seeking proposals from flooring contractors to install owner supplied LVT in tenant occupied units and carpet in designated areas. Drohan Apartments is a building located off Copeland St. in Quincy Ma.
BACKGROUND
Drohan Apartments is a Federal housing building that consists of forty (40) one bedroom one bathroom units. The existing flooring is VCT and it has reached its end of its useful life. The entry has existing tile that will be replaced with walk-off carpet. Carpet to be replaced in the building foyer and hallway.
SCOPE OF SERVICES
Remove and replace all owner provided cove base in all units. Install owner provided LVT over existing VCT in ALL 40 tenant occupied units. Install walk off carpet where tile is in entry. Replace carpet squares in foyer and replace cove base.
This work is estimated at $ 180,000.00
