The QUINCY HOUSING AUTHORITY, the Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids from
Contractors for the Security System 15 Bicknell St. at State Aided Development: Snug
Harbor (200-1) in Quincy, Massachusetts, in accordance with the documents prepared
by JOHN MURPHY JR. ELECTRICAL CONSTRUCTION & ENGINEERING, INC..

The Project consists of but not limited to:
Installation of new Closed Circuit Television Cameras (CCTV). Work to include new
cabling, coring, conduit, testing, and programming.

The work is estimated to cost $67,100.00.All bidding Requests for Information (RFIs) shall be submitted online by 04/12/2024 at
2:00PM EDT for general bids.
Bids are subject to M.G.L. c.149 §44A-J & to minimum wage rates as required by
M.G.L. c.149 §§26 to 27H inclusive.

THIS PROJECT IS BEING ELECTRONICALLY BID AND HARD COPY BIDS WILL
NOT BE ACCEPTED. Please review the instructions in the bid documents on how to
register as an electronic bidder. All Bids shall be submitted online at biddocs.com and
received no later than the date and time specified.
General Bids will be received until 19 April 2024 on 2:00PM EDT and publicly opened
online, forthwith.


General bids and sub-bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit that is not less than five
(5%) of the greatest possible bid amount (including all alternates) and made payable to
the QUINCY HOUSING AUTHORITY. Note: A bid deposit is not required for Projects
advertised under $50,000.

viewed and downloaded electronically at no cost).

Request for Proposals for Affordable Housing Development at 80 Clay Street in Quincy – Quincy Housing AuthorityThe Quincy Housing Authority (“Authority”), through its Chief Procurement Officer is seeking proposals from qualified developers for the development of a maximum of 100 units of affordable rental housing for seniors on approximately 2.42 acres of land owned by the Housing Authority at 80 Clay St. Quincy, MA. The Quincy Housing Authority intends to enter into a Land Disposition Agreement with the selected developer and convey the 2.42-acres portion of the property with a 99-year ground lease to the developer, with affordable housing deed restrictions. Interested Proposers are encouraged to attend a voluntary on-site briefing session at 10:00a.m. on April 11, 2024, at 80 Clay Street Quincy, MA 02170.The Quincy Housing Authority has determined that the award of this contract is subject to Uniform Procurement Act.
