This Five-Year Action Plan is available for a forty-five (45) day public review and comment period starting Wednesday, March 22, 2023. The Five Year Action Plan is available for inspection in the lobby of the QHA office at 80 Clay St. Quincy, MA and on the QHA website: www.quincyha.com A public hearing to review any comments on the Five-Year Plan will be held on Friday, May 5, 2023 at 1:30 pm in the 12th floor conference room at 80 Clay St. Quincy, MA.

On Monday, January 23, 2023 the Draft Annual Public Housing Agency Plan of the Quincy Housing Authority (QHA), as required by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), will be available for a forty-five (45) day public review and comment period. The Draft is available for inspection by the public on the QHA website https://www.quincyha.com, and at the Main Office of the Authority, 80 Clay Street, Quincy, Massachusetts, The Draft is also available at each of the following locations: 109 Curtis Avenue, 73 Bicknell Street, and 170 Copeland Street. These locations are all wheelchair accessible and reasonable accommodations will be provided to persons requesting assistance. Please contact the main office should you need a reasonable accommodation. The Agency Plan is scheduled to be submitted to HUD on March 17, 2023 or thereabouts. A Public Hearing to consider comments on the Draft Agency Plan will be held Monday, March 13th, at 4:00 PM in the Community Room on the 12th floor of the QHA’s principal office located at 80 Clay Street, Quincy, MA 02170. Additionally, the Quincy Housing Authority Board of Commissioners will meet on March 16, 2023 at 5:00 pm to consider adoption of the Agency Plan before its submission to HUD; any additional comments on the Agency Plan will be considered up to this meeting. This Board Meeting will also be in the Community Room on the 12th floor at 80 Clay Street. Anyone wishing further information on the QHA’s Agency Plan should contact Carolyn M. QHA PARKING POLICY
WILL BE ENFORCED IN THE SNUG HARBOR FAMILY DEVELOPMENT
The Quincy Housing Authority has adopted a new parking policy. This means, any tenant who wishes to park their vehicle on QHA property at Snug Harbor between the hours of 12:00 am and 6:00 am must have a valid parking permit (including all tenants with Handicap placards or license plates). The permit, in the form of a sticker must be permanently affixed to the inside lower corner of the driver side (left side) of the listed vehicle’s front windshield. For motorcycles, owners must affix the sticker to the fork on the operators left side. The parking permit (sticker) is NOT transferable. Any vehicle that is parked on QHA property between the hours of 12:00 am and 6:00 am without a valid parking sticker will be towed at the owner’s expense by Ayer’s Towing 440B E. Squantum Quincy MA. If you have not yet done so, you must register your vehicle with your Property Manager as soon as possible. The Property Manager’s office is located at our Support Services Department, 26 Figurehead Lane in Germantown. In order to obtain a parking permit, you will be required to provide the Manager with a valid Mass. Driver’s license, and a copy of the vehicle registration. (Please note, the vehicle must be registered in the resident’s name.)
Further, if you are in need of a temporary permit, please see your property manager. A temporary permit may be issued to a resident in good standing on a case by case basis. Please note, parking on the street during winter months could lead to towing during snowstorms. Please contact the City of Quincy for more information.
