It’s the most wonderful time of the year for parents—back to school! While going back to school can be an exciting time for both parents and children, it can also be stressful in making a new transition. The QHA and its partners tried to ease the burden with a little fun, and some valuable resources for the agency’s family residents in the Germantown neighborhood. The QHA and Baystate Community Services gifted backpacks and school supplies, in partnership with Quincy Family Resource Center, while our other partners handed out valuable resources for a return to school for all ages. Quincy, the QuincyCARES bear also made an appearance on the backpacks for a little extra love. Despite some taking cover from the rain, the brave attendees embraced the chance to get even wetter. Luckily, the rain didn’t dampen the smiles. These events would not be possible without the generous contributions from our partners.

A special thank you to all our partners for supporting us at this year’s event.
